I love Calthy's Floral & Gifts. I have used them many times for funerals, homecomings or just to send arrangements to brighten up a friend's day. Everything that has come from this place of business has been beautiful, and the cost was very reasonable. The most difficult time of life was made very easy because of Cathy and her employees. My 15-year-old tragically died in a pickup wreck, and my family and I had to go pick out the casket piece as well as other stand-up pieces for the funeral. We looked through books, but I didn't see exactly what I wanted. I explained to them what I had envisioned; and when I saw what they had created with all the red roses that coved the entire bottom half of his casket while draping down the sides, I was completely moved and satisfied. They had exceeded all of my expectations in everything I had envisioned. As you can imagine, I received many arrangements as well as plants from her as well during this time. Everything was beautiful! They worked day and night because my son was not the only one who had passed, but there was another young man as well. They worked themselves into the ground just to make our goodbyes as beautiful and memorable as they could be. Since the as I've said previously, I have had many dealings with her, and all of them have been the same. I have NEVER heard anyone be dissatisfied with her or any of her employees. I would trust Cathy's Floral & Gifts on any occasion to make my special day the best ever. Thank you so very much Cathy for your dedication and hard work to our small town and its people!!!
We just used this florist, if that's what you can call it, for my father-in-laws funeral. The arrangement that my wife ordered could have been made by an elementary student. The arrangement was to have been a lighthouse and it resembeled an owl with extra large eyes. The flowers that were placed on the poster board cutout, of a lighthouse?, and most were dead and dried up. The costs for this type of arrangement was outrageous! The rest of the arrangements at the services were horrible. The wreath on the casket was big enough that it only took one person, one hand to move and hold it. It is a shame that such a beautiful service was ruined by the type and costs of flower arrangements that were delivered. I wll recommend to anyone and everyone I know to either give a donation to an organization or find another florist close to Floydada, but definitely DO NOT use Cathy's.
This is the most convenient and friendly store. I have to do my shopping over the phone and they are very helpful and patient with me.
I would've given ZERO stars if I could! Rude and unfriendly! I've never had ordering flowers be made so difficult. They need to recognize not everyone plays with flowers all day and have more patience when explaining the small selection they actually are able to produce. So unfortunate Floydada doesn't have more options.
